So you want to edit the website. Understandable!

Just like this wiki, logins to WordPress are managed by Hannelore and Matt, so if you haven't gotten yours, reach out to one of them.

Once you have your credentials, head over to https://www.cybertechvt.com/wp-admin, and login.

Editing/Creating Pages

To edit pages on the website, go to the pages header on the left-hand side

Editing/Creating Blog Posts

To edit or make a new blog post, click on posts on the left-hand side.

Creating Image Carousels

If you need to create an image slideshow (carousel) like you see on the intern write up page, you go to the "WP Carousel" header on the very bottom of the left-hand menu.

Checking for updates

To check for (and perform) site updates, first go check the "Site Health" link under the "Tools" link. Any theme, plugin, or WordPress updates will be listed there.

Please do this frequently, as WordPress is the biggest CMS (content management system) on the whole internet, and thus, outdated versions are targeted by hackers (and their scripts) frequently.
